Great day with Mom!!
Today Mom and I went out of town to do a little bit of shopping.
Mom bought me a new sketchbook, lunch, and candies.
It was great to get out of the house and spend time with my Mommas!
We tried some yummy candies made by The Ginger People.
Add a few candies to boiling water and you have ginger tea, it's not
very strong but would be good added along with another tea.
One of my favorite parts (besides lunch at Red Lobster)
was the beautiful scenery on the way home.
The new frost on the trees was picture perfect.
If only I would have brought my camera!!!!

Have not done much the last couple of days. Worked on a few backgrounds and a little bit of prep. work. Since money is tight i try not to use canvas for experimenting. Instead i use cardboard that i can cut down to any size i need and paint over it. Then if i decide to throw something away i don't feel guilty or have to try to repaint over a canvas.

For the last couple days I have been working on some art prompts for the New Year! So far I have about 120 prompts.
I didn't want to do one prompt per day, I thought it would feel too much like i'm on a schedule.
Here are some of my favorite prompts so far....
#5. Create a Scene without the pen ever leaving the paper
#14. Create a cover for a handmade sketchbook
#21. Do a 5 min. sketch of your workspace
#51. Work on your portfolio for 2 days
